WEYANT TAKES THE REINS AT SPOON RIVER
Canton, Illinois (June 29, 2019)………Korey Weyant emerged victorious following a furious five-car battle at the front, leading all 20 laps to win Saturday’s USAC Speed2 Engler IMRA Midget feature at Spoon River Speedway.
Weyant (Springfield, Ill.) ended series point leader Andy Baugh’s three-race win streak at Spoon River. Baugh (Mason City, Ill.) finished second ahead of Brent Burrows (Lewistown, Ill.), Kevin Battefeld (Lewistown, Ill.) and Patrick Ryan (Springfield, Ill.).
