Findlay, Ohio (June 14, 2024)………Reigning USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget champion Zach Wigal stifled the field on Friday night at Findlay, Ohio’s Millstream Speedway.
Wigal (Belpre, Ohio), a regular on the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship tour in 2024, wheeled his family-owned No. 18 to the lead on lap one and never relented for the remaining 20-lap distance en route to a wire-to-wire victory, his second of the season.
Wigal was followed to the line by runner-up finisher and VMS Motorsports fast qualifier Jakeb Boxell (Zanesville, Ind.) who pulled even atop the season long championship standings alongside seventh place finisher Bryce Massingill (Troy, Ohio).
Tate Martz (Rushville, Ind.) equaled his best result of the season with a third while Matt Lux (Manilla, Ind.) corralled fourth. Kayla Roell (Dillsboro, Ind.) rounded out the top-five.
