Reading, Pennsylvania (March 10, 2025)………Pennsylvania and New Jersey get ready! A storm is heading east from Tuesday, June 17 through Sunday, June 22 when USAC Eastern Storm presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment hits for the 18th annual edition featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship.
The six-race series will offer six consecutive nights of USAC Sprint Car action visiting six different tracks in two states, featuring a unique mix of dirt tracks varying in variety and diversity from short track bullrings to high speed big tracks to the always wild and crazy high banks. No two tracks are the same, which makes this series among the most demanding and challenging on the USAC national tour.
A fixture on the USAC Sprint Car schedule since 2007, Eastern Storm 2025 starts on Tuesday, June 17, at Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania’s 1/3-mile Grandview Speedway, followed by a Wednesday, June 18, date across the border at New Jersey’s 4/10-mile Bridgeport Motorsports Park. Then it’s back to the Keystone State on Thursday, June 19, at Pottsville, Pennsylvania’s 1/3-mile Big Diamond Speedway.
Two historic 1/2-miles are on tap afterward with Williams Grove taking center stage on Friday, June 20, while the second of the two 1/2-mile tracks on the docket is slated for Saturday, June 21, at Port Royal Speedway. The diverse schedule then takes the series to the Eastern Storm finale at the racy bullring of Kutztown, Pennsylvania’s Action Track USA, which, at 1/6-mile in length, is the smallest track on the 2025 schedule.
Fifty-two Eastern Storm events have been contested between 2007 and 2024. Brady Bacon leads all drivers as an eight time Eastern Storm victor. Bryan Clauson, Levi Jones and Chris Windom have each won six Eastern Storm events and Robert Ballou owns five. Drivers with four wins include Justin Grant, Logan Seavey and Kevin Thomas Jr., while Cole Whitt has three wins and Emerson Axsom, Tyler Courtney and Thomas Meseraull each have two.
In 2007, it was Grandview Speedway’s Bruce Rogers and Special Events Promoter Bob Miller who celebrated the return and the start of USAC Eastern Storm. A capacity crowd attended to see Levi Jones win the first Eastern Storm event that opened the 2007 Thunder on the Hill Racing Series. Since that initial show, Grandview and Thunder on the Hill have hosted the opening event of Eastern Storm.
The six race Eastern Storm series will offer a $10,000 point fund in 2025 courtesy of Levan Machine & Truck Equipment, a Berks County business. Brian Levan, President and CEO for Levan Machine and Truck Equipment is no stranger on the local racing scene, and along with running a very successful business, Brian is known as someone who can get things done.
“I love racing, especially non-wing sprints and the history the USAC organization has established, and we are proud to be part of the 18th Annual USAC Eastern Storm,” Levan continued. “We are approaching this sponsorship a little differently than some of our programs with a goal to get the Levan Machine and Truck Equipment name high-level exposure, and at the same time, grow and develop, and hopefully, add even more excitement to this already historic series.”
The 2025 Eastern Storm champion will earn $5,000 of the total $10,000 Levan Machine and Truck Equipment sponsored point fund. Watch for some race night activities to be announced to include USAC driver meet and greets at various tracks.
