Speedway, Indiana (November 13, 2024)………Entering the final month of the season, Daison Pursley holds a slim four-point lead in the 2024 USAC National ProSource Passing Master standings.
Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) enters the final seven-race stretch of the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship season at the top of both the series and the passing master standings. Pursley’s passing master lead stands at four over Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.).
Pursley, the defending USAC Passing Master titlist, has passed 199 cars thus far in USAC national feature events throughout 2024 across the three divisions: Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget.
Seavey, at 195 passes, remains the closest competition for Pursley down the stretch. Robert Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) currently stands third at 149 with Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) in fourth at 145. Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) and C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.) currently hold a share of fifth at 131.
ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has posted a $2,500 year-end reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who passes the most total cars during feature events throughout USAC’s 2024 national season.
The bonus payday awaits the driver who advances the most positions combined between USAC’s Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget divisions.
The 2024 season marks the fifth year of ProSource’s USAC National Passing Master championship. Chris Windom captured the inaugural edition in 2020. Justin Grant claimed the honor in both 2021 and 2022 while Daison Pursley took the title in 2023.
