Speedway, Indiana (October 3, 2024)………Daison Pursley continues his grip on the 2024 USAC National ProSource Passing Master title as the season moves into the month of October starting this Sunday with the USAC Silver Crown National Championship’s Sumar Classic at Indiana’s Terre Haute Action Track.
The Locust Grove, Okla. racer has passed 194 cars in USAC national competition throughout 2024 thus far, 14 more than any other driver to date across the three divisions: Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget.
Currently, Pursley is on pace to rein in back-to-back USAC National ProSource Passing Master Championships. Several contenders remain within reach, including Logan Seavey (180) and Robert Ballou (145) while Justin Grant (129) and C.J. Leary (125) round out the current top-five.
ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has posted a $2,500 year-end reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who passes the most total cars during feature events throughout USAC’s 2024 national season.
The bonus payday awaits the driver who advances the most positions combined between USAC’s Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget divisions.
The 2024 season marks the fifth year of ProSource’s USAC National Passing Master championship. Chris Windom captured the inaugural edition in 2020. Justin Grant claimed the honor in both 2021 and 2022 while Daison Pursley took the title in 2023.
