EASTERN SPEED2 MIDGETS ARE ALL ACES THIS WEEKEND

Altamahaw, North Carolina (October 17, 2019)………A doubleheader weekend for the USAC Eastern Speed2 Midgets are on tap on the paved oval of Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. this Friday and Saturday, October 18-19.

The Rodney Cook Classic features a pair of complete events two-straight nights in the series' first two visits to the track this year.  Nolan Allison (Greensboro, N.C.) won the most recent trip to Ace in October of 2018.  He also won the most recent race on the Eastern campaign two weeks prior.

Jessica Bean (Farmland, Ind.) holds an 89-point lead over Connor Gross (Asbury, N.J.) with only three races remaining as she seeks her third consecutive series title.

On Friday, the grandstands open up at 6pm Eastern with the drivers meeting set for 7pm and racing at 7:45pm.  On Saturday, practice begins at 11am with the grandstands opening at 2pm and racing at 4pm.
