4 SPEED2 MIDGET RACES IN 3 STATES ON TAP THIS WEEK

Four races in three states occur in USAC’s Speed2 Midget series this weekend.

Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. hosts Friday’s Eastern series race, then ventures Saturday to East Carolina Motor Speedway in Robersonville, N.C. The Midwest Thunder series returns to Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway Saturday and the Engler IMRA Speed2 series will compete at Spoon River Speedway in Canton, Ill. Saturday.

Will Hull of Plainfield, Conn. took the lead on the white flag lap and led to the finish to win last Saturday night’s USAC DMA Midget race at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. Adam Whitney took second ahead of Joe Krawiec, Jeff Horn and Derek O’Hearn. Only 20 points separate the top-four in the latest series points.

Nolan Allison of Greensboro, N.C. led all 35 laps to win Saturday night’s USAC Eastern Speed2 Midget race at Dillon (S.C.) Motor Speedway. Sam Hatfield took second ahead of series point leader Jessica Bean, Connor Gross and Alex Murray.
