EASTERN, MIDWEST, GULF COAST AND DMA PREPARE FOR SPEED2 MIDGET INVASION THIS WEEKEND
Six states host USAC Speed2 Midget races this week, hoping for better weather that last week’s races encountered when all three fell to Mother Nature.
Aaron Leffel will try to continue as the 2017 USAC Speed2 Midwest Thunder Midget Series leader this Sunday when the series returns to the Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway following last Sunday’s rainout at the Kokomo oval.
The series also has a non-points, special event slated this Saturday at Waynesfield (Ohio) Raceway Park before moving back to Kokomo for Sunday’s full-points program.
Kyle Jones leads the Speed2 Gulf Coast Series to races this Friday at Boyd (Texas) Raceway and Saturday at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville. Texas.
Jessica Bean is the Eastern Midget leader entering this weekend’s doubleheader Saturday at Highland Rim Speedway in Ridgetop, Tenn. and Sunday’s visit to Kentucky Motor Speedway in Whitesville.
Adam Whitney top the Speed2 DMA series, which returns to Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt. this Saturday.
