Formats may be altered from base formats listed here at the discretion of the chief steward.

QUALIFICATIONS

No Qualifying

HEAT RACES

Heat race lineups will be based on the finishing order of Friday’s event. Friday night’s feature winner will receive the one seed with the second-place finisher getting the second seed, and so on. For Saturday, those seeds, in essence, will act as the official qualifying time.

The number one seed will line up in the 6th position of Saturday’s heat race one and the number two seed will line up in the 6th position of heat race two, and so forth. From there on, the “traditional” USAC format will take over.

If 48 or more cars are in attendance, five (5) heat races will be held with the top-four (4) finishers from each heat race transferring to the feature.

If 28-47 cars are in attendance, four (4) heat races will be held with the top-five (5) finishers from each heat race transferring to the feature.

If 27 cars or less are in attendance, three (3) heat races will be held with the top-six (6) finishers from each heat race transferring to the feature.

10 laps. The top-6 cars are inverted in each heat race based on seed.  For the 4th row on back, cars will line up straight up, based on their seed.

HEAT #1:

4 Heats: Cars seeded 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21 will start in inverted order. Cars seeded 25, 29, and so forth, will start behind invert.

3 Heats: Cars seeded 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 will start in inverted order. Cars seeded 19, 22, and so forth, will start behind invert.

HEAT #2:

4 Heats: Cars seeded 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22 will start in inverted order. Cars seeded 26, 30, and so forth, will start behind invert.

3 Heats: Cars seeded 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17 will start in inverted order. Cars seeded 20, 23, and so forth, will start behind invert.

HEAT #3:

4 Heats: Cars seeded 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23 will start in inverted order. Cars seeded 27, 31, and so forth, will start behind invert.

C-MAIN (IF NEEDED):

10 laps. The starting lineup will be determined by heat race finishes from row two on back. The top-4 finishers of the C-Main will start in the last two rows of the semi-feature.

SEMI-FEATURE:

12 laps. The top-seeded cars that did not transfer through the heat races will line up straight-up in the semi-feature event.

If three (3) heats were held, the top-six (6) finishers from the semi will transfer to the feature.

If four (4) heats were held, the top-four (4) finishers from the semi will transfer to the feature.

If five (5) heats were held, the top-four (4) finishers from the semi will transfer to the feature.

FEATURE:

40 laps. Starting positions determined by seed, top-6 seeds at the front, with the top-six seeds who transferred through their heat races inverted by their seed the first three rows, positions 1-6.  The top seed starts 6th, the second-best seed starts 5th and so on.  If a heat race winner is not in the top-6 inversion, that driver will line up directly behind the six-car invert, based on their seed, from best seed to lowest seed, followed by the balance of the field based on their seed. 24 starting cars (not including earned provisionals).
