Speedway, Indiana (January 3, 2024)………Fourteen events make up the 2024 schedule for the USAC Eastern Focus Midgets at 12 different pavement racetracks spanning five different states in North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina along with specials in Massachusetts and Arizona.

The first of the 12 points-paying championship events brings the series to Asheboro, North Carolina’s Caraway Speedway on March 10.  Rounding out the month of madness is a stop over at Tri-County Speedway in Hudson, N.C. on March 30.

April consists of a pair of dates on April 13 at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway and on April 27 at Spotsylvania, Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.  In the month of May, the series makes the pilgrimage to Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, Va. on the 24th.

June brings warm weather and hot racing action as the season gets into full swing with two showdowns on June 7 at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Wake County Speedway and on June 15 at South Carolina’s Dillon Motor Speedway.  Mid-summer provides a jaunt over to Massachusetts’ Seekonk Speedway for the Boston Louie Seymour Memorial, a non-points special event for the Eastern contingent.

Back-to-back nights in North Carolina form the basis of the calendar at the end of August.  Jacksonville’s New River All American Speedway marks the spot on August 30 while Swansboro’s Carteret County Speedway is the place on August 31.

Coeburn, Virginia’s Lonesome Pine Motorsports Park will host the series on September 18 while the season’s final championship points race is set for October 12 with a return appearance at Spotsylvania, Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.

Arizona’s Havasu 95 Speedway will close out the year with a duo of non-points special events on November 8-9 in conjunction with the USAC Rocky Mountain Radical Focus Midgets.

The two dates for the USAC Eastern Focus Midgets at Dominion Raceway on April 27 and October 12, as well as the July 13 showdown at Seekonk Speedway, will be co-sanctioned by NEMA Lites.

Logan Sulyi (Raleigh, N.C.) enters the 2024 season as the reigning USAC Eastern Focus Midget champion, prevailing in the closest points race in series history by four points and one on-track position over J.T. Bierman (Bath, Pa.).
