Toledo, Ohio (December 6, 2024)………Racing fans, start your engines! Ohio’s Toledo Speedway is gearing up for an electrifying Opening Day on Saturday, April 19, headlined by a first of its kind doubleheader that will set the tone for an action-packed season.
The historic half-mile oval will roar to life with the prestigious Hemelgarn / Super Fitness USAC Silver Crown Rollie Beale Classic 100-lap race alongside the close quarters CRA JEGS All Star Tour 100-lap event, promising an unforgettable day of racing excitement.
Three season openers in one day of racing! The USAC Silver Crown Series, known for its rich tradition of showcasing open-wheel racing at its finest, looks to add to the history of open wheel racing at Toledo with their first pavement event of the season. The 100-lap Hemelgarn / Super Fitness Rollie Bealle Classic has been a pillar of the Toledo Speedway schedule for years.
Adding to the spectacle, the CRA JEGS All-Star Tour will light up the asphalt with its signature brand of late-model stock car racing. Known for delivering wheel-to-wheel action and thrilling finishes, the 100-lap feature will showcase prominent late model racers from the region as they look to start their 2025 campaign strong.
Some of the unique features of the Toledo Speedway Opening Day Double Header:
- Combined Autograph Session: Get up close and personal with your favorite drivers from both series and get autographs and photos before the racing begins.
- Friday Practice Day: Both the USAC Silver Crown Series and the CRA Jeg’s All-Star Tour will hit the track on Friday, April 18th along with ARCA Late Model Sportsman and ARCA Factory Stocks.
- Doubleheader Action: Two premier series, two 100-lap races, one ticket.
