Kokomo, Indiana (August 23, 2024)………Jadon Rogers made the biggest charge during Friday night’s Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Sprint Car Smackdown XIII feature at Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway, advancing from his 24th starting position to finish 9th.
That’s helped Rogers (Worthington, Ind.) move to the top of the Smackdown ProSource Passing Master standings entering Saturday night’s weekend finale on August 24.
Rogers has passed a total of 24 cars thus far throughout the first two nights of Smackdown. In fact, all 24 came during Friday night’s program after he passed one in the heat race, eight in the semi and 15 more in the feature.
At the end of Smackdown weekend following Saturday night’s program on August 24, ProSource will reward the driver advancing the most positions with a $500 bonus.
Past Smackdown Passing Master champions include C.J. Leary (2018), Chris Windom (2019 & 2020), Cole Bodine (2021), Alex Bright (2022) and Shane Cottle (2023).
On Saturday night at Kokomo, gates open at 4pm Eastern. Cars will hit the track at 6:15pm. General admission tickets are $35 with kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $40 for members and $45 for non-members (all ages).
