[Miami, FL] — [February 25, 2025] — GPX Stream, a leader in live camera systems for motorsport, is thrilled to announce a partnership with USAC Racing, becoming their exclusive provider for live camera systems. Aimed at revolutionizing the live race broadcasts for series under the USAC Racing umbrella, this collaboration will enhance the viewer experience by integrating customer owned and managed live onboard camera feeds into race broadcasts, providing fans with a unique perspective during all events.
The relationship between GPX Stream and USAC Racing developed quietly throughout the 2024 racing season as they worked closely to explore the integration of GPX Stream systems for live onboard coverage. The culmination of these efforts was GPX Stream’s deployment of its latest product, GPX Mobile and the PMX Live Camera System, during the 2024 Porsche Endurance Challenge North America (PECNA) 6 Hour Endurance race at Circuit of the Americas, where GPX Stream technology powered a successful proof of concept. With the use of GPX Stream devices, USAC Racing was able to demonstrate high-quality and ultra-low latency live onboards, without any reliance on local infrastructure.
As part of the exclusive partnership between GPX Stream and USAC Racing, many participants across the USAC umbrella will be able to use GPX Stream technology onboard their vehicles. This enhancement allows coaches, engineers, race control, and the USAC broadcast team to have real-time access to each driver's live stream. The integration of this technology facilitates seamless communication and data sharing, including live telemetry, allowing for precise analysis and adjustments during races. This level of connectivity not only enhances decision-making for teams but also ensures that fans can enjoy a richer, more immersive viewing experience, witnessing the race as it unfolds from the driver's perspective.
The partnership kicks off at the season-opening event for the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, March 1-3 at Sebring International Raceway. At this event, teams will have the opportunity to experience the GPX Stream technology firsthand, with multiple cars equipped with live onboard cameras broadcasting in real-time. USAC competitors will be able to utilize these feeds for enhanced decision-making and coverage. Fans can expect improved race content, with immersive onboard perspectives integrated into the event’s streaming. This debut marks the first step in a broader rollout of GPX Stream technology across the USAC Racing series, setting the stage for a new era of live motorsport coverage
Beyond the Porsche series, USAC Racing will implement GPX Stream technology across multiple championships, including the brand-new Ford Mustang Cup. Additionally, it will be integrated into USAC’s renowned circle track series, such as the AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship, the NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship, and the USAC Silver Crown Series. This expanded deployment ensures that drivers, teams, and fans across a variety of disciplines can benefit from high-quality, ultra-low latency onboard coverage, bringing a new level of engagement and analysis to grassroots and professional motorsports alike.
"The opportunity to work directly with USAC to explore the potential of our client-owned and operated Live Camera Systems has been truly eye-opening" said Jeff Segal, Founder of GPX Stream. "This collaboration has allowed us to continue to push the boundaries of what can be done with the live onboard streams that we are already helping our clients deploy, and USAC’s open-mindedness and forward thinking have allowed them to take maximum advantage to create enhanced value for their participants, teams, and fans"
“Integrating GPX Stream technology across USAC’s series is a major step forward in enhancing our race broadcasts, driver development, and fan engagement,” said Kevin Miller, President & CEO of USAC Racing. “The ability to deliver high-quality, real-time onboard footage without relying on local infrastructure is a game-changer. This partnership allows us to provide an unparalleled viewing experience for fans while giving teams and race control a new level of insight during competition.
The partnership between GPX Stream and USAC Racing marks a significant step in enhancing the motorsport viewing experience and is set to make waves in the way that participants, fans, and race organizers view and interact with the on-track action.
