BACON TAKES OVER USAC EASTERN STORM POINT LEAD WITH BRIDGEPORT WIN

Pottsville, Pennsylvania (June 13, 2024)………Brady Bacon’s victory in Wednesday night’s event at New Jersey’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park vaulted him into the USAC Eastern Storm point leader entering Thursday night’s round three at Pottsville, Pennsylvania’s Big Diamond Speedway.

Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.), the 2014 USAC Eastern Storm champion, currently owns a 20-point edge in the Eastern Storm standings.  C.J. Leary (Greenfield, Ind.), the 2019 Eastern Storm titlist, sits second.  Two-time Eastern Storm champ Robert Ballou (2015 & 21) of Rocklin, Calif. runs third (-27).

Raisin City, California’s Mitchel Moles occupies the fourth spot in points (-36) while Littleton, Colorado’s Carson Garrett grips the fifth spot (-42).

On Wednesday, June 13, at Big Diamond Speedway, pit gates open at 4pm Eastern, front gates at 4pm, drivers meeting at 6pm and hot laps at 6:45pm.
