IN LIKE A LION, LAMB ROARS AT ORANGE COUNTY

Rougemont, North Carolina (June 11, 2023)………Chris Lamb stayed true to a tradition he’s held onto since 2011.

The Colfax, N.C. native secured a USAC Eastern Focus Midget feature victory for the 13th consecutive season on Saturday night at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, N.C.

The three-time series champion’s 58th career USAC Eastern Focus points race triumph came in precise fashion as he tracked down early race leader Brady Allum on the seventh lap, then sped away to a 1.326 second victory.

Allum (Gold Hill, N.C.) led the first six circuits of the 30-lapper and grabbed second at the finish line with point leader Logan Sulyi (Raleigh, N.C.) third, reigning series champion Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) fourth and fast qualifier J.T. Bierman (Bath, Pa.) fifth.
