DMA MIDGETS OPEN AT BEAR RIDGE SATURDAY

The 2013 USAC DMA Midget Series gets under way Saturday at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt.

Kevin Chaffee of East Orange, Vt. won last year’s DMA title and Joe Krawiec of Bristol, Conn., was the 2011 champion.

Krawiec leads the list of series feature winners with seven, while Krawiec and Scott Holcomb each have three. Dana Shaw, Jeff Champagne and Dean Christensen have also found victory lane.

A total of 12 events are on the 2013 calendar at the quarter-mile dirt oval, concluding with a September 28 race.
