USAC NOS ENERGY DRINK MIDGET NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT
Formats may be altered from base formats listed here at the discretion of the chief steward.
**Hot laps and main events only.
**Two 12-lap C-Mains. Prelim feature finishers 18-22, plus finishers 7th on back in the semi-feature will start in the C-Main. Top-4 finishers of each C-Main will transfer into the semi-feature.
**Two 12-lap Semi-Features. Prelim feature finishers 4-17 will start in one of two semi-features. Top-5 finishers in each semi-feature will transfer into the feature.
**15-lap Last Chance Qualifier. Finishers 6th through 15th in the Semi-Features will compete in the Last Chance Qualifier. Top-8 finishers will transfer into the feature & will start in positions 17-24.
**39-lap Feature. 24 starters, plus 2 USAC provisional starters (if applicable) & 2 IMS options. All USAC National Midget drivers & entrants will receive feature points only based on finishing position. All non-transfers will receive 10 points.
MIDGET TIRE RULES:
Left Front: D12 or D15
Right Front: D12, D15 or D20
Left Rear: D12 or D20
Right Rear: SP3 only
**Right-rear tire will be stamped to be run during qualifications, heat race and feature.
**Changing tire will result inbeing put to the tail of feature. If a tire is punctured, it must be verified by series official and replaced with an used tire.
