Pleasant Hill, Ohio (August 16, 2024)………Kevin Thomas Jr. has been tabbed as the new driver of the 4Kings Racing No. 14 for several USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship events in the month of September.
Thomas (Cullman, Ala.) will make his debut in the team’s Stanton-powered, DRC chassis sponsored by AccroSeal, Metalloid1, AccroLube, Bordner Welding when the USAC season resumes with the Firemen’s Nationals on September 1-2 at Sun Prairie, Wisconsin’s Angell Park Speedway.
The car had been driven on the USAC trail this season by Castro Valley, California’s Jake Andreotti. In addition to Angell Park, Thomas has also committed to competing for the team in the upcoming 4-Crown Nationals at Ohio’s Eldora Speedway on September 20-21 as well as the Driven2SaveLives BC39 at The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 26-27-28.
4Kings Racing was founded at the beginning of the 2024 season. Rex Tuner, one of the founders and owners of 4Kings Racing, shared his excitement about KTJ joining the team.
“KTJ has already accomplished so much in his career, and we believe he’s just getting started,” Turner stated. “His experience and talent will be invaluable to our team and we’re eager to see the impact he’ll make from the first race as part of our team.”
Thomas is a six-time winner in USAC National Midget competition, amassing 159 career series starts. In 2014, he was named USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year.
