600 SPRINTS CONCLUDE SATURDAY AT PLYMOUTH

 

600 SPRINTS CONCLUDE SATURDAY AT PLYMOUTH;

SHILLING, SAUNDERS TAKE “BOB NEWTON CLASSIC”

The 2013 TRAXXAS USAC 600 Sprint Series concludes this Saturday night at Plymouth (Ind.) Speedway closing the inaugural series of 600 competition at the northern Indiana dirt oval.

Point leaders Billy Cribbs (Open) and Garrett Saunders (Restricted) appear headed for championships in their respective series.

Cribbs was third in last Saturday’s 20-lap “Bob Newton Classic” Open race, won by Randy Shilling, while Saunders prevailed in last Saturday’s 15-lap Restricted feature.

Shilling was trailed in the Open feature by Rodney Stealy, Cribbs, Craig Ronk and Ryan Kline. In the Restricteds Saunders was followed by Nick Katrakis, Kristina Durr, Nicholas Schaefer and Bud McCune.
