CRA "OFF" UNTIL MAY 28 "SALUTE TO INDY" AT THE PAS

KAEDING HALTS SPENCER’S STREAK AT HANFORD

The AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars are idle until May 28 when they compete in their annual “Salute to Indy” at the Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.

Series point leader and defending three-time champion Mike Spencer will have to start another winning streak at Perris after finishing 18th in last Saturday’s 30-lap feature at Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif.

Bud Kaeding of Campbell, Calif. led the final four laps of Saturday’s race driving his Bowman Racing Alviso Rock/High-Five Pizza Maxim/Shaver. He was the last of four race leaders.

Greg Bragg led the first two, Cory Kruseman led the next 11 and Danny Faria Jr. led for 13 laps before Kaeding moved to the front. Nic Faas finished second ahead of Matt Mitchell, Kruseman and Rip William
