MILLER FASTEST AT VENTURA; HUNT QUICKEST AT MADERA

SWEET, MILLER POST EARL’S FAST TIMES
Tracy Hines, Mike Spencer and Nic Faas take Earl's Fast Qualifier Championship point leads into this weekend's USAC racing action out west. Hines and Spencer lead the National and Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint FQ standings respectively, while Faas is atop the Western Midget FQ points. The Sprints race Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Budweiser Oval Nationals at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway, while the Western Midgets compete at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring Saturday.
Blake Miller and Tony Hunt paced qualifying at two USAC races last weekend. Miller was the top qualifier for the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint race at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway Saturday and Hunt topped qualifying for the Western Sprint race at Madera (Calif.) Speedway Saturday.

Earl's Performance Plumbing, a division of Holley Performance Products of Bowling Green, Kentucky, is the sponsor of the "Earl's Performance Plumbing Fast Qualifier Championship." Earl's will present year-end cash awards to the drivers finishing in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions of the "Earl's Fast Qualifier Championships.
