Speedway, Indiana (May 3, 2022)………Buddy Kofoid has assumed the early lead of the yearlong USAC ProSource Passing Master standings by virtue of overtaking 26 cars throughout the season thus far as the series enters the month of May.

Longtime USAC supporter ProSource has posted a $2,500 reward to the USAC nationally licensed driver who advances the most positions during feature events throughout the entirety of USAC’s 2022 national season, which encompasses Silver Crown, AMSOIL National Sprint Car and NOS Energy Drink National Midget racing.

Kofoid (Penngrove, Calif.) holds a slim lead in the passing master contest, heading the field by three points over Minden, Nevada’s Tanner Thorson (23), San Jose, California’s Thomas Meseraull (20), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s Brady Bacon (18) and Sutter, California’s Logan Seavey (15).

ProSource, of Grand Saline, Texas, has also rewarded USAC competitors through Qualifying, Hard Charger, Hard Work and individual event hard charger awards over the years before beginning the yearlong Passing Master program in 2020.

Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) captured the passing master award in 2020 while Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) got it done one year ago in 2021.
