Bloomington, Indiana (July 30, 2021)………The two single biggest nights of position advancement by a single driver belong to Stevie Sussex who passed a total of 24 cars in last Saturday’s USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week By AMSOIL opener at Kokomo Speedway, then added 23 more on Thursday night at Lincoln Park Speedway.

With 52 total passes throughout the five nights of ISW contested thus far, the Mesa, Arizona driver once again leads the Indiana Sprint Week ProSource Passing Master standings by a commanding 17-point margin entering Bloomington Speedway’s Sheldon Kinser Memorial featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship on Friday night, July 30.

At the conclusion of Indiana Sprint Week, the driver who advances the most total positions from their starting spots in all prelim and feature events throughout the entirety of ISW will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master.  Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive feature points toward the passing master total.

On Thursday at Lincoln Park, Sussex advanced two spots in his heat race, eight more in the semi-feature and 13 additional in the feature after charging from his 22nd starting position to finish 9th in the 30-lapper.

Sussex took over the lead of the Passing Master points from Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) who remains 17 behind the leader with 35 passes throughout Indiana Sprint Week.  Shane Cottle (Kansas, Ill.) and Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) each share the third position with 31 positions advanced.  Meanwhile, it’s Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) and Chase Stockon (Fort Branch, Ind.) who round out the top-five with 30 passes apiece.

Friday’s NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week by AMSOIL round six / Sheldon Kinser Memorial at Bloomington Speedway features the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship competing for a $6,000 top prize.  DIRTcar UMP Modifieds are also on the event card.
