EASTERN SPEED2 MIDGETS CLOSE AT DOMINION, WESTERN DOUBLE DIPS AT STOCKTON

(October 24, 2018)………The USAC Speed2 Eastern Midgets close out their 2018 season this Saturday, October 27, at Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania, Va., while the Speed2 Western U.S. series checks into California’s Stockton 99 Speedway both Saturday and Sunday, October 27-28.

Farmland, Indiana’s Jessica Bean holds a 43-point lead in the Eastern standings over Nolan Allison with Neal Allison in third 66 points back.  Hollister, California’s Adam Lemke has a commanding lead in both the Western U.S. Pavement and Overall standings with a 174 and 233-point advantage, respectively, over Joey Iest and Johnny Nichols.

Eastern's most recent scheduled race at Dominion in April was rained out.  Chris Lamb and Dan Cugini won Eastern stops at Dominion a year ago.  For the Western series, this marks the first visit to Stockton 99 since 2012, won by Garrett Peterson.
