WELCH LEADS KENYON CARS TO ANDERSON WEDNESDAY

LIGUORI, ARMSTRONG HOLD REGIONAL LEADS GOING TO NEW CASTLE


The USAC Kenyon Midget Series resumes action Wednesday night at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway before joining the Regional Midgets and Midwest Ford Focus Midgets for Thursday night’s “tripleheader” program at Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind.


 


Dillon Welch of Indianapolis, Ind. is atop the Kenyon Midget standings after winning the series opener at Anderson May 9. He has a 32-point edge over Grant Galloway as the two head back to the quarter-mile paved oval.


 


Caleb Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. and Joe Liguori of Tampa, Fla. are the respective point leaders in the Regional Midget and Midwest Ford Focus series, which resume action Thursday at New Castle’s 4/10-mile paved oval. Armstrong leads his cousin Dakoda by just three points in the Regional Midgets, while Liguori’s Focus lead stands at seven over Tyler Cottongim.
