PETERSON STAYS UNBEATEN AT STOCKTON


Stockton, CA……..Garrett Peterson of West Sacramento, Calif. has now won eight consecutive USAC Western Ignite Midget races at Stockton 99 Speedway in 2012 after sweeping Saturday’s pair of 30-lappers. He led all 30 laps of the opener, then passed Molly  Helmuth on lap nine and led the final 22 laps of the nightcap. Tyler Edwards, Ricky Bowers, Sheldon Didinger and Collin Milroy completed the top-five in the opener, while Helmuth finished second ahead of Didinger, Edwards and Bowers in the second 30.
