FOCUSES VISIT SOUTH CAROLINA, ALSO AT ROSEVILLE

BREWER TAKES UTAH FEATURE ON THE FINAL LAP!


The USAC Eastern and Carolina Ford Focus Series continue Saturday at Dillon (S.C.) Motor Speedway and the Western/California Pavement Ford Focus and Young Guns Series visit All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. Saturday.


 


Scott Hunter sits atop the Eastern and Carolina standings entering the Dillon event, while Connor Kassik (Western), Bobby Runyan (Western Pavement) and Garrett Peterson (Northern California) are the Ford Focus point leaders entering the Roseville race. Brandon White (Western) and Keegan Walmer (Northern California) are the Young Guns point leaders.


 


Bob Brewer of Salt Lake City, Utah led only the final lap to win Saturday night’s 21-lap USAC Western/Utah Ford Focus feature at Rocky Mountain Raceways in the Utah capital. Brewer was the last of five race leaders in a wild race featuring three different leaders in the final three laps! Michael Daniels took second ahead of fast qualifier Chuck Groat, Austin Luttmer and J.R. Williams. Groat, Ron Duncombe, Kipp Posey and Daniels all led before Brewer’s winning move past Daniels on the final lap.


 


The Utah Ford Focus Series resumes at Rocky Mountain Raceways May 22.
