USAC DIRT MIDGET ASSOCIATION CONFIRMS 13 RACES FOR 2022

The northeastern-based USAC Dirt Midget Association has confirmed a 13-race schedule for the 2022 season at three different tracks in the states of Vermont, New York and New Hampshire.

Bradford, Vermont’s Bear Ridge Speedway will once again serve as the centerpiece for the division.  The quarter-mile dirt oval will host nine races beginning on the track’s opening night, May 7, and concluding with the finale on September 24.

Bear Ridge is owned and operated by Butch and April Mae Elms who are also instrumental in annually scheduling two races at Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, N.Y.  The first of which is June 10 and the second on August 12.

Back on the schedule in 2022 after an absence over the past two seasons is The Flat Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  Both Loudon races will not issue points but will be paying a substantial purse.  The first NHMS event will take place on June 18 and the second on July 16.

The USAC Dirt Midget Association is an affordable midget racing series for production vehicle engines of 2.4 liters or less.  Stafford, Connecticut’s Seth Carlson is the two-time and defending series champion entering the 2022 season.
