20-RACE SLATE SET FOR USAC EASTERN SPEED2 MIDGETS IN 2022

Speedway, Indiana (January 21, 2022)………The 2022 USAC Eastern SpeeD2 Midget schedule features 13 points races and seven special events that take the series to nine different states which span from North Carolina to Arizona.

The season’s intros and outros unfold in the same manner with a pair of non-points special events at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu, Ariz.  The first two arrive on March 25-26, with the curtain closing on the campaign on November 11-12.

The first championship points race arrives on April 9 in the series’ lone trip to the state of South Carolina at Dillon Motor Speedway.  Carolina’s on their mind as the series travels to the bordering state of North Carolina on April 23 at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont.

Two nights at Virginia’s South Boston Speedway follow on April 29-30, followed by a return visit to West Virginia’s Ona Speedway on May 21.

June is reserved for Virginia with both dates taking place in the Old Dominion state on the 11th at Spotsylvania’s Dominion Raceway and on the 25th at Shenandoah Speedway.

From the Mid-South to the Midwest, the series gets after it at Highland Rim Speedway in Greenbrier, Tenn. on July 9.  To close out the midsummer month, it’s off to Indiana’s Anderson Speedway for consecutive evenings of racing on July 29-30.

August brings the competition to Goodyear All American Speedway in Jacksonville, N.C. on the 20th.  On August 24, the series takes a break from point racing to make the voyage up the east coast to Massachusetts for the Boston Louie Memorial for a non-points special event at Seekonk Speedway.

Greenbrier, Tennessee’s Highland Rim Speedway welcomes the series on September 10, then it’s time to make the haul to Idaho’s Meridian Speedway for a pair of non-points special events on September 23-24.

The championship points season closes out on October 15 at Tri-County Speedway in Hudson, N.C.

Jessica Bean (Farmland, Ind.) enters the 2022 season having won five consecutive series championships.
