OHIO'S MOX PRICE HEADING TO TAMPA

FOR EASTERN DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP MARCH 20-22
You'd think an 8-year-old kid from Ohio would pattern his career after the "Buckeye Bullet," Dave Blaney or maybe Jeff Gordon, whose first Sprint car win came in Chillicothe, but not Mox Price.
The youngster from Payne, Ohio says his heroes are Hoosiers Tony Stewart and Joey Saldana!
On March 20-22 he'll be looking for victory lane, which has been kind to both Stewart and Saldana during their careers, when USAC's Eastern District .25 Midget Championship unfolds at the Ambassador RacingSchool oval south of Tampa, FL. Max has his sights set on grabbing one of USAC's new prized feature winner medallions, which will be presented for the first time at Tampa.
A competitor in the Junior Honda and Light 160 divisions, Mox won the 2008 Kokomo (IN) Junior Honda championship and finished third in points in the Region 4 championship. He won the Wiley Gordon 100-lapper atKokomo, the Columbus Rumble in Ohio and swept both nights of the Fort Wayne rumble just prior to New Year's.
Sponsored by MS Motorsports, Banshee Graphics and the Scott Variety Shop, Mox wheels a Hawk Chassis.
Mox is one of several drivers expected to travel from across the country to participate in the March 20-22 races at the Florida oval, the first district championship under the new USAC .25 Midget banner. IN addition to Mox' Kokomo club, members from the new Indy .25 club and Northwest Ohio Quarter Midget Racing Association have also filed entries and plan to participate.
