HONDA EXTENDS COMMITMENT TO USAC .25 MIDGET PROGRAM

HONDA EXTENDS COMMITMENT TO USAC .25 MIDGET PROGRAM

 


Officials of USAC, Honda and Honda Performance Development (HPD) met Thursday at HPD headquarters in Santa Clarita, Calif. to re-affirm Honda’s commitment to its support of and success in USAC’s Mopar .25 Midget Racing program.


 


“USAC is committed to Honda and its products for the long term wiith our .25 midget initiative” says USAC Development Series Director James Michael Spink. “We look forward to a longstanding relationship and some exciting upcoming announcements regarding the partnership.”


 


Rules packages for the USAC Honda classes in 2012 and beyond will be released in the last quarter of the 2011 season.


 


HPD is excited to work with USAC as we increase our involvement in quarter midget racing and continue to develop our grassroots engine programs,” said Marc Sours, HPD General Manager. USAC’s “Generation Next Tour” continues with round five this weekend at the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, Calif.
