Tulsa, Oklahoma (April 18, 2022)………A winner-take-all dash for cash has been added to the festivities for USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship contenders on the opening night of the 3rd annual Werco Manufacturing T-Town Midget Showdown presented by Priority Aviation at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Port City Raceway on Thursday, April 21.

The event will take place during practice night for the midgets as the series gears up for the two-straight nights of full programs on Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23, at Port City.

Thursday’s Midget Dash For Cash presented by Dragonfly Aviation will feature eight drivers.  The dash will be 10 laps in length and a draw will be held to determine the starting lineup.  The top-six fastest drivers in practice, who want to participate, will be eligible along with previous T-Town Midget Showdown Saturday main event winners.  If either of the previous champions do not require provisionals, the seventh and eighth fastest cars in practice times will be added.  If a driver does not want to participate, the next fastest in time has the option to join the field.

Previous T-Town Midget Showdown Saturday night main event winners will be able to use a provisional and tag the tail if they are not among the top-eight on time.  Past Saturday night winners include Justin Grant (2020) and Buddy Kofoid (2021).

The fastest top-four drivers in practice will draw for the first four spots on the grid.  Positions five, six, seven and eight will draw for the remaining positions.  There is no entry fee.  The reward is $500, and the winner takes all.
