Haubstadt, Indiana (June 6, 2021)………Buddy Kofoid extended his point lead in the 2021 Indiana Midget Week series following Saturday night’s runner-up performance at Lawrenceburg Speedway.  The Penngrove, Calif. driver now carries a 14-point lead into Sunday night’s round four of eight at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. on June 6.

Kofoid is the lone driver to finish inside the top-5 of all three Indiana Midget Week races thus far with a 4th at Paragon on Thursday, a victory at Bloomington on Friday and a 2nd at Lawrenceburg on Saturday.

Saturday’s Lawrenceburg winner Logan Seavey (Sutter, Calif.) moved from 3rd to 2nd in the IMW standings, 14 behind Kofoid.  Chris Windom (Canton, Ill.) dropped back to 3rd despite a solid 3rd place result at Lawrenceburg and stands 18 points behind Kofoid.  Justin Grant (Ione, Calif.) is 4th in IMW points with Daison Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) 5th.
