BALLOU RISES TO ISW PASSING MASTER LEAD

Speedway, Indiana (July 30, 2020)………Robert Ballou, with his subsequent charges over the past three USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car feature events, has risen to the lead by one point over Shane Cottle in the NOS Energy Drink ProSource Indiana Sprint Week Passing Master standings entering Thursday night’s event at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind. on July 30.

Ballou (Rocklin, Calif.) advanced from 22nd to 10th Sunday at Lawrenceburg, then went 19th to 10th Wednesday at Terre Haute.  Add in his move from 7th to 4th last Saturday at Kokomo and he has advanced a total of 24 positions throughout the first four races of the seven-race series.

Cottle (Kansas, Ill.), who had led the Passing Master points since opening night at Gas City last Friday, is just one marker behind Ballou with 23 positions advanced in ISW.  Matt Westfall (Pleasant Hill, Ohio) is 3rd with 17 while Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) and Thomas Meseraull (San Jose, Calif.) are tied with 14 apiece.

At the end of the week, the driver who advances the most total positions from his or her feature starting spot throughout the entirety of ISW will receive $500 as the ProSource Passing Master.  Provisional starters each night are ineligible to receive points toward the passing master total.

Sunday at Tri-State, pits open at 3pm CT, front gates open to all spectators at 3pm and hot laps begin at 5:15pm with qualifying and racing to immediately follow.

Tickets are available for Tri-State at www.usactickets.com. Tickets will also be available at the gates on raceday.  Adult general admission tickets for Tri-State are $25 while kids age 13-18 are $20 and children 12 & under are free.  Pit passes are $30 apiece.

All events will be aired live on FloRacing at https://bit.ly/2Zs7zFP.
