3 KOKOMO SPRINT NIGHTS FOR NDC DRIVERS

CLAUSON-JONES POINT SEPARATION NOW 54

Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Ind. continues to sit atop the USAC National Drivers Championship standings in his quest for a third consecutive title.

Clauson is now 54 points ahead of Levi Jones after last week’s races at Springfield, Ill. and Sun Prairie, Wisc. Clauson was fifth in Saturday’s “Tony Bettenhausen 100” Traxxas Silver Crown race at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield and a narrow second in Sunday night’s Mopar National Midget race at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisc. Jones was fourth in both races.

Points this week will be awarded during the “Sprint Car Smackdown” for the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Cars at the Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway.
