Tires and Wheels

Let me start by saying I am as green as green can be when it comes to racing. Other than watching weekly nascar races, and races at the local track, I have ZERO expierence at working on a car!
Anyways.....this past Friday I picked up a used Extreme 02 35" chassis, that my son will be racing. A few of the wheels are "slightly" bent and have a slight wobble when they are spun. This past weekend I picked up some used tires(in VERY good shape($10 per tire)) for it, and the person/team that sold them to me set me up with the stagger I should use.
So....now I need to replace some bent wheels.
I was going to go with tires for the stagger
LF 31.0/4.5-5 RF 33.0/5.0-6
LR 31.0/4.5-5 RF 34.5/6.5-8
But got talked into these by the person that sold me the tires.
LF 32.0/4.5-5 RF 33.0/5.0-6
LR 32.0/4.5-5 RR 34.5/6.5-6
I have the Hoosier racing tire chart and it shows approx rim size, and recommended rim sizes.
32.0/4.5-5 approx rim 5-6", recom rim 5"
33.0/5.0-6 approx rim 6-6.5" recom rim 6"
34.5/6.5-6 approx rim 8-8.5" recom rim 8.5"
Should I go with the recommend rim size, or will I be better off going with wider rim for the 32 and 33 inch wheels and an 8" rim for the 34?
We will be racing at a new concrete oval(Little Kalamazoo Speedway). Every part of the track is sloped towards the infield. I am not sure what degree of banking the straight-a-ways and turns have.
Hopefully some of you seasoned veterans will shed a little light on this subject for this greenhorn.

If your son is just getting started save yourself the money and don't replace the wheel. If the wheel is bent on the outer or inner edges of the wheel it will not hurt to run the wheel as long as it still holds air. If the wheel is bent in the center or just past the center or where the wheel starts to step down then I would replace it put the 32.0/4.5-5 on a 5x5 wheel on the LF and put that same tire on a 5x5.5 wide wheel for the LR. Put the 33.0/5.0-6 on a 6x6 wide wheel for the RF and be sure the back spacing on the wheel is a 4" back spacing. The 34.5/6.5-6 wheel needs to go on a 6x8 wheel with a 4" back spacing.

Excuse my ignorance....but do you mean this wheel should have a 4" offset?
