i just wanted to suggest one thing post thier picture on the wall at next sign in like a coward wall of fame. then i want to approach them and let them know they got thier tail kicked by a legal rocketship!!!!! the reason im so mad about it is bikeing is getting worse the more races we run there, and when a kid gets hurt because of it it just makes matters that worse.

yes .25, they are swabbing tires and taking them to a lab for analysis, they are supposed to be able to tell you everything on your tires from this test. my honest opinion is that it is a hoax because i have heard of no punishment as of yet, so whats the use if you dont do anything? no offense to the buckeye club i think they are a wonderful group of people but I WANT TO SEE RESULTS BEFORE I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE TIRE TESTING.

Just remember, MUCH of the biking that you see indoors can be stopped by the handler with chassis adjustments.  However, many choose to run their cars tight.

At Ft. Wayne there were some cars biking on the first few laps and others that never biked, its all in the setup.  And Ft. Wayne had much more tire prep on it and was much tackier than the indoor track ever will.

Lower cross
Raise Panard bars
Move RR tire out
Stiffen Springs
Increase air

All of which are ways to free up the car as well as many others I’m sure.

As for cheaters, I think they should have to be the one to DQ their kid and explain to them why they had to cheat to win.  The handler should be punished, not the child.

i agree 100%, but there are alot of young drivers with new handlers as well. which there are some that move up way to early. i agree the handlers should have to explain to there kids why they were dsq. , i was just thinking about the ole country store up the road that posted the people who wrote bad checks name right by the registure how embarrased they must be.

In the Senior Honda and Light 160 classes, what brand of (untreated) tires are they running at the Columbus Indoors?

My son drove the last race for a new upcoming handler and A40’s worked fine.

Historically, we have always run DBWs the first race and then DCSs each race after.

in sr honda the a main winner was on hoosier a30, the 2nd place car was on d30 hoosiers, but was having to loosen car up drastically. i would recommend a30 or firestone ykd (yfa). lt 160 im going to run firestone ygf (ykf) on a tight car.

Thanks for the tire info. Is anyone selling Hoosiers at the indoors? If so, do you know their prices?
