Time to move Levi on his way and pick up a new rising star in Jeff Bland. Then you can pick up another in Brady Short and have Tracy Hines run your USAC team.

it would be nice if tony would let levi race on the nationwide series next year....but you know that levi is the best one out there right now!

Levi Jones is a good racer, but Jeff Bland is definately an up-and-coming star.  Keep your eyes on Jeff Bland.  Good post TNi.

Never been much of a Levi fan. He is more of a product of the team. He has been the #2 with TSR most of his time there. He will not make it beyond the world of USAC Sprints and Midgets. Plus if he ever does lose his ride with TSR his career will wind down to just a middle of the pack driver.

Yeah, good point.  TSR made him who he is, but sometimes that is what it takes ya know.  Just think if there was a racer that won everything he/she raced, but no one big knew who they were, their career wouldn't go anywhere.

Tony Stewart may be impulsive, but he's not stupid.Levi Jones is a jewel in Stewarts corral of racers.always ready and prepared to get the done,gives %100 and knows how to represent his sport,team and his own dignity while in the public.but then he was raised in Ill. ,so I expect the best conduct...Class Act......

well let me say this. If levi does loose tsr he will not have to look very far for a new team. and if he looses it when he is racing on asphalt then its even better. his family has grown up racing and most of his family is directly connected to nascar, arca, usac, go carts and any other type of racing except for open wheel racing. but all in all tony doesnt seem to be giving up levi very soon and he may just have a ride from stewart haas racing in the upcoming years. Just wait to see what this guy can do!! just try keeping up wiht the Jones'!
