Hey LLR did you go up and enjoy those great .25 hotdogs? The kids had a great time today and even came out with a win. Go Bucks.

LLR,

[I was the pres. last year and we had the people soaking I'm sure and it's hard to stop but I also beleive lastyear we slowed it down with bringing that tire guy(money well spent)and also DQing that handler from NC lastyear. ]

Did you really slow it down, the person you gave the win to after the DQ last year just got busted for using prep at the Fall Nationals!
.....................But I'm sure he just started that practice!

grteracer, You have a point. When we went to the reg3 race I ? him.I told my driver in the line-up your not going to win this race. She said why you say that.I told her that I see 4 cars with tire dope on them.I don't know if you watched the hvy honda A main. She was the one in the 3 car.She had a 1/2 track lead on the field and was kickin a..   until a caution came out with 4 to go and it looked like she was racing on ice and 6 cars went by her like she was a novice. The funny thing is she finished 5th so that tells me I guessed right.Wish we could have went to the fall natl. I'm not perfect but I tryed to slow it down.

So you are saying that you had a 1/2 a lap lead on the field against cars that had prep in them?
You was that fast without prep and they was that slow with prep??
Something dont seem right!

Just my observation

tire prep gets the tires to grip and fire fast, which is what happened on that restart. LLR's car was good on a long run after the tires came in but was unable to hang on the restart.

So if the tire prep gets the tires to grip and fire fast, that would indicate that the ones with prep would be a 1/2 a track lead on the field! Right?
Then on the restart the sticky tire would pick up all the dirt from going high around a spun car and thus would be loose on a restart.!

Thanks for clearing this up for me!

I think it would depend on everyone’s starting position and how the first couple laps come out.  Wasn’t there but prepped tires could have been in the rear and held up in traffic for a bit and LLR only needs a couple laps to get rolling and away she goes...

LOL,  we do try and make time to watch other races, although not as often as we would like.

Plus, you have to remember we had Adam running with us the last year or two and they were sometimes in the same races.

qrterracer the race went i believe 35 or 36 green laps then a car spun ( a heavy car spinning after that many laps?Huh lets just say a favor.) giving a legal car plenty of time to take the lead. do i need to keep going or are you picking this up? Embarrassed

I know what happened .. When you get out of the groove down there it is very DIRTY. Hot sticky tires pick up dirt and is very loose on restarts.
That is what I saw!
Did not see anyone spin for someone else,if that is what you are acussing!
