Is there anyone else that would like to see the "OLD" Copper Classic come back Huh  Any good reason's why it should not?

I would LOVE to see the Copper World Classic return! The only reason I could see why it couldn't would be current track ownership. When the IRL approached PIR about a possible return,they were allegedly told they could,much like USAC,have the Thursday of a NASCAR weekend. I would say we've as much chance of the old Copper returning as we do Manzanita reopening.
***UPDATE !!*** AZ Republic article 11/14/09 by Michael Knight.
 It was announced this morning that USAC would not be returning to PIR in 2010,the Thursday slot being taken by the CW West series finale. The article went on to say that "PIR and USAC are talking about resuming the Copper World Classic as a stand alone weekend in Jan.2011." I'd like to believe this is true,but I'm such a cynic. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
