On Sat. Oct 3, we are putting together a special event to celebrate our 50th year of racing at Mac-O-Chee. Details will be coming. We are putting together exhibition races for trophies for Deco/open classes based on vintage formats. We are also beginning a MOC Hall of Fame and will be inducting some of the founding members of MOC. We are extending an open invitation for anyone who would like to display vintage quarter midget memorabilia (cars, parts, equipment, etc.). These exhibition races will be open to anyone. This is in conjunction with our Friday Night Shootout Series on October 2 and weekly points races on Saturday and Sunday. Keep an eye on the forum and at www.macochee.org for further details. Thanks! Tina McPherson MOC Secretary

Don't forget if you have some vintage photos, articles, cars, equipment, etc., to bring them along to display as we take some time to look back at the history of quarter midget racing.

We want to invite everyone to join us this weekend for our final races of the 2009 season. The Friday Night Shootout series is a really neat race format. Saturday is our big day of racing that will include a arrive and drive for any child from the age 5 to 16 and then our Memorial event that afternoon. There are drivers and cars coming from South Carolina, Tennesse and family from Arizonia along with the induction of 19 founders and drivers of 1959. Sunday will wrap up our season so come join us for a 4 race weekend.
Thank You, Andy Myers MOCQMRA President.

What a grand opportunity to put aside the sanctioning issue and come together to support the history of Quarter Midget Racing!
This is shaping up to be spectacular! Race open to all, run any tire, buy/sell QM stuff, lots of food, and good friends.
Thanks Mac-o-Chee for putting together this opportunity to see and be part of history!

This is going to be a great event.
Kudos to the MOC club for putting together such a wonderful race. I hope all families who are around this weekend support this historic weekend.

Andy,
It is looking like I will be able to have both of Daniels cars there. I plan to put 160's in both so that if any of the former drivers that would like to take a few laps can do so. With Daniel being 6' tall and not missing any meals, I think it will fit most of the adults there.
We look forward to being there.

That's awesome Dale I talked to a couple of the guys last night and told them that we might be able to get a couple of car that they can drive and I believe that would make their evening and we might have a couple of the old cars for a coulpe lucky kids will get to try out. One of our Hall of Famers talked from the beginning of this he could still drive 50 years later. Thank again Dale from the Mac-O-Chee Club.
Andy Myers.

The Lion's Club fish fry on Saturday is $8.00 per meal for quarter midget families (versus $8.50 community). The money goes towards their community projects (eye glasses for children, etc.). They would appreciate a head count so that they make sure they have plenty of fish. The meal was very good at our 4th of July GNT race. If you could send a head count, it would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at secretary@macochee.orgThanks! Tina McPherson MOC Secretary

The rain has cleared out of West Liberty so lets go racing boys and girls just tell mom and dad to set the GPS to the BULL RING and we will see ya there. We get this weekend started tonight with our Friday Night Shootout series and continues throughout the weekend. This is a reminder that Saturdays Beauty Bowl Memorial is a free non USAC member race so just bring a Birth Certificate to sign ins and pay your $5.00 entry fee per car and yes I said $5.00 and you can race a very fun filled event just wait until you see the formats!! All I have to say to the handlers, get some rest!
Thank You, Andy Myers MOCQMRA President.
