We run ARS shocks and recently ordered some shock oil.  I had ordered the ARS shock oil, but when the package came it had a bottle of Red Line ExtraLight 2.5w Synthetic Suspension Fluid.  So...which oil should I use?  Obviously not going through the return process would be nice, but if the ARS oil is better than that is what I would do.

Nothing?  Is it the same oil, is one better than the other...any help would be appreciated.  This will be the first time we will pull shocks apart to rebuild them.

I would call Cory at Advance and ask him since it's their shocks.

Cory is out of town, but the person I talked to said the ARS oil is 2.5w synthetic, so I am probably going to rebuild one of my shocks and use this RedLine oil and see how it goes.
