may29th while raceing in the iowa telcomm pepsi midget nationals a main on the 18th lap chad mcdaniel had no where to go when davey ray was rolling coming out of turn four chad hit davey as he was coming down on the track he suffered head and neck injuries and unfortinatly was airlifted to des moines mercy medical center where he later succumed to his injuries
our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of chad especially his kids and his wife as well as the usac family of racers as they have to race on tonite without their friend

chad you wont ever be forgotten
