Title: North Carolina East Coast Challenge Hotel Post by: smotorsports on May 14, 2010, 04:48:16 PM Just wanted to let everyone know that is traveling to our track for the East Coast Challenge, Comfort Suites has a limited amount of rooms left.
Our race weekend is Memorial Day Weekend as well as the weekend of the Coca Cola 600, so hotel rooms are limited. If you would like to book with the Comfort Suites, to receive a discounted rate, please call their Sales Manager directly. Her name is Katie Schnellinger and her number is 704-630-0065. She can also be reached by email at katie@beaconimg.com. If you book through the Front Desk, they will not be able to offer you a discounted rate. We do have a few other hotel options that generally offer us discounts. I have not confirmed whether our discount will work since this is a big event weekend in our area. How many cars are you running in the A Main for Junior classes? USAC ran 10 at national events. We regularly run as many as 12 at Tampa. Metro Atlanta ran 8 for Junior Honda. I understand it's at the discretion of the club, so what about NC? Atlanta ran 8 cars in the feature because they said they were following the USAC rule book. There is no 8 car rule in Jr Honda, but the 8 car rule does pertain to Jr rookie.
