Post by: Magic Man on May 03, 2010, 11:50:35 PM
Does anyone know where to get tire racks for trailers?
Thanks for any contact info you can provide!

I have three used 4' long aluminum tire racks for $85.00 each. I'm located in NW Ohio.

When we first got started I built some for our trailer using a piece of plywood, a piece of angle iron, and electrical conduit. It worked very well. I spent about $40 for 10' of rack. I have it in the shop if anyone in the Indy area wants to come and get it. No charge.

I built the one in my trailer out of a couple pieces of 1x4 wood and it works perfect.  I holds 2 complete sets of tires, cost was about $10 - $15 and it took me less than an hour to do it.  Can send pictures if anyone wants, just email me and I will snap a few next time I am down at the track.

I ordered the pre-drilled racks for ours off Ebay for about $45, then just had to install (3) pieces of electrical conduit through the holes to hold the tires. If you type in quarter midget or quarter midget racing into Ebay's search engine, you'll find it.
