Bought these shocks with a bunch of parts and I can't use the 8" length. I don't know the history of these shocks, but they feel to be something like 7-2/5 and 5-0.5/5.5. What a good way to dispose of the unwanted shocks instead of storing them in some corner where they would have remained, forgotten and useless! It was a win-win situation for both the seller and buyer! And the seller lowered the cost so that the buyer had the option of sending them for rebuilding or whatever alterations required without having to spend more.
