Hi everyone.  I have had a few people ask me about running Putnam Fairgrounds.  We have not run quarter midgets there this year but it seems people have time in there schedule now that the season is winding down and would like to try it for the last race of the season.  Our last race at the Putnam Fairgrounds, in Ottawa, OH, is Sunday afternoon October 23.  It is a small, banked, dirt track that Larry Boos rents and puts on kart races once a month.  I would be interested in doing it for the last race if we can get at least 6 quarter midgets.  If you are interested please call me at 440-288-9526.

Also, Ft Wayne this year is December 30 and 31.  That is a Friday and Saturday.  There will be an optional practice on Thursday.  I am looking for any kind of sponsorship for the quarter midgets.  Tony Barhorst is working on his advertising and I would like to have a title sponsor for the quarter midgets.  There are three options available for sponsorship.  First one is for $200 and that would get you a business card add in the program.  The second one is for $400 and that would get you the business card add in the program, a banner on the backstretch fence and your business name on the t-shirts.  The third one would be for $1,000 and that would include a larger add in the program, two banners placed on the backstretch fence, your business name on the t-shirts, your business decal placed on the quarter midgets, and the quarter midgets would be announced as "your business" quarter midgets during the show.  If we would get a title sponsor soon enough Tony could use your name in radio and newspaper advertising.   If you or someone you know would be interested in becoming a sponsor for the quarter midgets please call me.  The money that I get through sponsorship goes towards the drivers pit passes.
