See official for window pass. Format: All classes will qualify, run heat race and feature. With points earned for all. All classes will qualify. Qualifying points will be awarded as follows: 1). 10 2). 8 3). 6 4). 4 5). 2 Heat Races: All heat races will be inverted from qualifying order. In the event of 10 or more cars in a class, 2 heat races will be run. Heat race points will be awarded as follows. 1). 10 2). 9 3). 8 4). 7 5). 6 6). 5 7). 4 8). 3 9). 2 10). 1 In the event of 2 heat races in a class, points awarded for heat races will be split. B-Main: If more than 9 cars in Jr. classes or more than 11 cars in Sr. classes. Multiple heat races and a B-main will be run. For Jr. classes the top 3 from each heat race will transfer to A-main with all remaining cars running B-main. Top 2 will transfer. B-main will be lined up based on qualifying and heat race points. For Sr. classes, the top 4 from the two heat races will transfer to the A-main with all others running a B-main. Top 2 will transfer. B-main will line-up based on qualifying and heat race points. In the event of a tie, the highest qualified racer will receive the tie-breaker. Feature: Feature line-up will be determined by points earned in qualifying and heat race(s). The top 4 will be inverted. Feature points will be awarded as follows. 1). 30 2). 25 3). 20 4). 18 5). 16 6). 14 7). 12 8). 10 9). 8 10). 6 Any car not making the A-feature will be awarded 5 'show-up' points. Awards: Trophies will be awarded to each A-main winner Series: 9 events are scheduled. A racer's 8 best finishes in the 9 point races will count toward the title. The champion in each class will be recognized at the 2010 Night of Champions. The top 5 drivers in each class will receive their season championship awards at the 2009 "Duel in the Desert" event. Tire: Right side tires for Jr. Honda, Sr. Honda and Light 160 must be either the Hoosier A-35 or Hoosier A-40 USAC spec tire. Driver must qualify, run heat race and feature event on the same right side tires. Anyone changing a tire, for any reason, will start last in the A-feature. |
