Title: Tanner Gen 2 Shocks Question
Post by: racemom2000 on October 15, 2009, 07:28:30 AM
Still learning about adjustable shocks, so could someone tell me why bleeding Tanner Gen 2's to 0 psi would be advantageous for Sr Honda? Thanks!

That I have not heard. I pump mine up with about 40lbs on the left and 50lbs on the rights.

I can't find a product manual anywhere for the Tanner 2's. Mittler Brothers (the manufacturer) only provides a rebuild sheet. From what I understand, 0 psi would be the softest setting (which would maybe mean more grip?). I dunno, I'll have to research this more....

I believe we called and emailed Tanner and they were quite helpfull with recommendations. We made a mistake and ran the shocks with little or no air pressure in them and it simply pushed the front end. The front would not turn at all - no bite.

At our banked concrete track we seem to be happy with 40-50 lbs.

Okay, I gave Tanner (now Mittler Brothers) a call & spoke with Gay. She was very, very helpful. :) Mission Complete....
