Title: want your opinion
Post by: Cowboybub14 on September 23, 2012, 07:43:15 PM
we are just finishing our rookie season of quarter midget racing , we have an older ricecar and have done very well with it ( we are the only ones running a rice there ). that being said , talon chassis seem to run very well at our track ( syracuse, ny ) ...... would like your opinion on which one you feel is better , and why ......

Gonna get a lot of different answers on this one. Everyone out there believes there cars are the best out there. Pretty much any chassis out the can and do win races. Don't get all wrapped up in the "gotta have this car, this item to win" stuff. If you are comfortable working with the Rice car then just stick with it. Stick to the basics on it and make sure the car is 100% right every time you hit the track and keep working with the kid on driving. We've been running quarter midgets 3 years now at the same tracks you run and my kid still learns every time she hits the track.
